Practice
is over with...
After the first practice
at Kil-Kare I was concerned that my Husky wasn't
really that much faster than the 250Rs I was practicing
against.
In my mind at that time I thought a 430cc 2-stroke
would walk away from those "tiny" 250cc
ATVs... Not true. What I didn't think about was
Kil-Kare was a small, technical track with very
little straightaways and tons of corners. I never
got my husky out of 2nd gear the whole time and
it gave an advantage to the lighter, better handling
250Rs. It was OK though, because I still placed
well and it certainly turned a lot of heads.
